Santa Barbara County firefighters say they’ve contained a small brush fire burning in the San Marcos Pass area.
The blaze was discovered just one p.m. on the 1400 block of Old San Marcos Pass Road. An acre of brush was blackened.
No structures are reported to be in danger.
Firefighters are still at the scene, mopping up, and utility crews are on scene dealing with a downed power line. There’s no word on the cause of the fire.
