Law enforcement officers from three different agencies raided multiple locations in Ventura, and Oxnard yesterday in connection with efforts to solve the murder of a 14-year-old boy.
Joshua Burciaga was shot to death June 27th in Saticoy Park. Yesterday, Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives, aided by Oxnard and Ventura Police served search warrants, and conducted probation searches at eight locations to try to find evidence related to the homicide.
The teams seized guns, ammunition, gang paraphernalia, and arrested three people on drug related charges. No arrests were made in connection with the murder, but detectives say that investigation is continuing.
