Subtropical Weather Means Continued Thunderstorm Potential For South Coast

Posted on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 8:40pm

Moisture from what was Hurricane Fabio is continuing to create some unusual weather conditions for Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties.

In addition to humid conditions, there’s a chance of thunderstorms in Ventura, and Santa Barbara county mountains through Thursday afternoon.

The moisture set an all time record in Camarillo Wednesday. A trace amount of rain was reported at Camarillo Airport, the first rainfall reported in Camarillo on a July 18th since official recordkeeping started there in 1948.
