A San Fernando Valley woman is facing DUI, and vehicular manslaughter charges following a fatal traffic accident in Ventura County.
The CHP says Glenda Navarro was driving on Piru Canyon Road, near Piru just after 5:30 Wednesday night when she failed to make a turn, and her car plunged more than 100 feet down an embankment.
The 18 year old woman was wearing a seat belt, and escaped from the crash with minor injuries.
Her passenger, a 24 year old North Hollywood man, wasn’t buckled in, and was thrown from the vehicle, and suffered fatal injuries.
