A San Fernando Valley man has been identified as the victim of a fatal traffic accident in the Newbury Park area
Sergio Martinez died just after eight last night, when his car slammed into a utility pole on the 500 block of West Potrero Road.
The CHP says it appears the 24 year old Northridge man was speeding, but that the investigation into the accident is still underway.
