Authorities say the discovery of the body of a 75 year old woman in her Simi Valley apartment is being investigated as a homicide.
Simi Valley Police were called to the 1500 block of Patricia Avenue around four Sunday afternoon by worried relatives, who had been unable to reach the woman. Officers forced their way inside the apartment, where they found her body.
Detectives aren’t talking about the suspected cause of death, but do say they consider it to be a homicide. There’s no word on how long she might have been dead.
Her name hasn’t been released, pending notification of relatives.
