Ventura County Health Officials Think They Have A Lid On Tuberculosis At Oxnard School

Ventura Public Health officials think they’re getting the upper hand on tuberculosis concerns stemming from an Oxnard middle school, where a student had a potentially contagious form of the disease.

Last week, a student at Fremont Intermediate School was discovered with TB.

Health officials launched a testing, and education program for parents, and school staff members:
The officials are recommending precautionary blood tests for more than 300 people who were in closest proximity to the student.
