An army of local, state, and federal public safety officials are gathered in Ventura County to look at ways of dealing with the increasing problem of dug smuggling, and human trafficking into the region by sea.
It’s one of the big topics at a three day training effort, and drill involving some 30 agencies.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports from Port Hueneme, where he talks with some of those involved in efforts to deal with smuggling.
