The head of a major water district serving parts of our region has announced his retirement plans, after some 16 year years with the district.
John Mundy says he’ll step down as General Manager of the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District in December. He’s headed the district since 2003.
Mundy says he wanted to announce his plans early, so the district’s board of directors would have enough time to search for a replacement.
The district provides water, wastewater treatment, and other services for Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and parts of Los Angeles County.
