There’s a new twist in the search for a film executive who disappeared after visiting a friend in Ventura County more than a month ago.
Gavin Smith was last seen in Oak Park on May 1st.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide investigators, along with a SWAT team searched a home in West Hills.
No arrests were made, but investigators took boxes of items, and a car.
Authorities aren’t saying what they are looking for, what they found, or whether they believe Smith was the victim of foul play.
He’s a marketing executive with 20th Century Fox, who worked on films like “Titanic” and “Avatar”. Efforts to track him down using credit card, or cell phone records have been unsuccessful, and a $20,000 reward is being offered.
