A bear which paid an unexpected visit to a Ventura County campground turned out to be quite the troublemaker.
The bear walked into a campground in Steckel Park, just outside of Santa Paula at around 6:30 last night.
As Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies reached the scene, it climbed up a tree.
State Fish and Game officials came with a tranquilizer gun, and knocked the bear out, but then it was stuck in the tree.
Ventura County firefighters were called to the scene, and helped get the unconscious bear out of the tree.
It’s been relocated in a remote area of the Los Padres National Forest.
