Ventura County Sheriff’s investigators say a man posing as a shopping center security officer has molested two women at a Carmarillo shopping center in the last week.
Detectives say in two instances, a man at the Carmen Plaza Shopping Center molested women as they left stores, grabbing their buttocks. In one case, he followed his victim to her car, and identified himself as a loss prevention officer, and demanded to see the contents of her purse. When she stepped out of her vehicle, he grabbed her again before fleeing.
Investigators are looking for more possible victims, as they try to identify the suspect.
