Ventura County firefighters were able to knock down a brushfire which burned about five acres of brush between Fillmore, and Moorpark last night.
The fire off of the 3500 block of Grimes Canyon Road was discovered at around 5 p.m. More than 20 fire units were sent to the scene, containing the fire in about two hours.
No structures were damaged. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
