A Ventura County university has announced plans for a major new campus addition: A $15 million dollar dining commons complex.
California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks is planning to start work on the two story facility in the middle of its campus this fall, with work expected to take about a year and a half. The new building will include a student lounge, and a food court.
The project is being made possible in part by a two million dollar grant from the Ullman Foundation. Four members of the Ullman family are CLU graduates.
The existing two story dining facility will be converted into a new Student Union building.
