Home ownership is a dream many South Coast residents have put on the back burner for the last few years, due to the economic slump, and tighter requirements on credit, and down payments.
But, a non-profit organization funded by dozens of the region’s employers has helped thousands of employees get into home ownership locally, at no cost to the workers.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco gives us a look at the Coastal Housing Partnership, which is hosting its first ever public home buying fair in Santa Barbara this weekend.
