A woman familiar to thousands of Spanish language television viewers on the South Coast has joined the staff of a local congresswoman.
Univision Santa Barbara anchor, and News Director Blanca Figueroa has been appointed as a District Representative by Democratic Congresswoman Lois Capps of Santa Barbara. Figueroa was with KPMR television since 2003. In her new role, she will be one of the Congresswoman’s representatives in the community, working on their issues and concerns.
