Man Arrested For Flashing Incident On High School Campus In Santa Barbara County

Posted on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 12:19am

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies say they’ve arrested a 20 year old man, after they say he walked onto a high school campus in Goleta, and flashed some female students.

Investigators say it happened around 11 yesterday morning, at Dos Pueblos High School. The students say that a man on the football field exposed himself.

The man fled, but deputies who quickly responded to the area found some witnesses who directed them to a home just two blocks from the campus. They questioned, and then arrested Jonathon Ruben Joshua Mendoza. In addition to an indecent exposure charge, deputies say he was also carrying a concealed weapon, a dagger, and will be charged with that as well.
