It was a somber ceremony in Oxnard.
Oxnard Police officers, community leaders, and family members gathered in Oxnard yesterday to remember seven members of the department who died over the years in the line of duty.
The Police Department has been holding the ceremonies for more than a decade, to let the families, and the community know they haven’t forgotten those who paid the ultimate price to serve the community.
