Work is officially underway tonight on a major freeway widening project, to try to eliminate some of the heaviest freeway congestion between Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports from Carpinteria, where a groundbreaking ceremony took place for a 100 million dollar plus project to add 12 miles of carpool lanes to the 101 Freeway.
