The late season storm which hit us during the last 24 hours is now heading east, leading a chance of scattered showers in its wake tonight.

While there was some locally heavy rainfall at times, rainfall totals in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties were light, from just over a tenth of an inch, to around an inch in some mountain areas.

The heaviest rainfall in the region actually didn’t occur onshore, it occurred just offshore, with some areas of the Channel Islands recording up to an inch and a half of rainfall.
