A Ventura County biotech giant has announced the purchase of a Turkish pharmaceutical company.
Thousand Oaks based Amgen bought Mustafa Nevza Pharmaceuticals. Both companies have already approved the $700 million dollar deal. The Turkish company has about $200 million dollars in drug sales annually.
The deal is expected to greatly enhance Amgen’s presence in the region.
