A big push is underway to try to get people in the region to have a legal directive, so family members, and medical personnel will know what to do if they become seriously injured, or ill.
A Santa Barbara group called the Alliance for Living, and Dying Well has been trying to get everyone to prepare advance care directives, through a program called “Five Wishes”:
The Alliance is holding its second annual community wide Five Wishes celebration from 5-7 tonight, at the Rockwood Women’s Club in Santa Barbara.
