The unemployment rate for Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties held steady for the last two months, according to the latest figures just released today.
Ventura County posted a 9.6 percent unemployment rate for both February, and March.
Santa Barbara County also showed no major change, with an 8.9 percent month to month unemployment rate for February, and March. Santa Barbara County’s rate is the sixth lowest in the state.
Statewide, unemployment ticked up one tenth of a percent, from 11.4 percent in February, to 11.5 percent in March.
