Two Arrested For Stabbing, Shooting Of Ventura Man

Posted on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 7:21am

Police say they’ve arrested two people they believe stabbed, and shot a Ventura man in what’s being called a gang related incident.

The attack occurred just before 7 p.m. Tuesday, near Ventura and McFarlane Avenues in Ventura.

Ventura Police officers patrolling the area arrived less than two minutes after the attack was reported to 911, and launched a massive search involving K9 units, and a Ventura County Sheriff’s Department helicopter.

Officers arrested Richard Juarez, and Jesus Rodriguez as they were trying to flee the area. Both Ventura men suffered minor injuries as they resisted arrest.

Police say the victim, a 37 year old man whose name isn’t being released, is in critical condition at a Ventura hospital as a result of stab, and multiple gunshot wounds.
