Ventura County College Graduate Talks About Unexpected Move From Educator To Nationally Known Political Activist

She thought she was going to make a career out of teaching English, and literature. But, her life took an unexpected turn, and this college graduate from Ventura County ended up becoming one of the leaders of a nationwide campaign which led to a freeze on U.S. nuclear weapons testing.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco talks with Caroline Cottom, who’s visiting Ventura County to speak to college classes, and give a public lecture Tuesday night.
