A Ventura County man convicted of repeatedly raping the daughter of his girlfriend over a four year period has received a 47 years, to life sentence.
Filemon Suarez of Port Hueneme was convicted of two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14, and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14.
Prosecutors say the 26 year old man sometimes raped the girl multiple times a week, starting when she was seven, and continuing until she was 10 years old.
