Efforts to find a new superintendent for a troubled Ventura County school district are moving ahead this week.
The Rio School District is searching for a new superintendent, after dismissing the last three in a row for different reasons.
The school district’s Board of Education hired the Ventura County Office of Education to help with the search effort.
Tonight, beginning at 6, the school board will hold a community forum at Rio Del Norte School, to get input on what the public wants in a new superintendent.
Tomorrow night, also at 6, the school board will hold the same kind of event at Rio Real School.
