Police are now identifying a man who was found with fatal wounds on a Ventura street.
Officers were called to the 100 block of West Ramona Street at around 10 last night, after residents heard gunshots being fired.
They found Lazaro Ramirez, who had multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency workers were unable to save the 47 year old Ventura man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives are trying to figure out what led to the killing, and are looking for witnesses.
