A winter storm that’s been in the forecast for days is finally expected to arrive in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties this weekend.
A cold front arriving on the Central Coast around midnight could bring three quarter of an inch, to an inch of rain to coastal and inland communities, with up the three inches possible in local mountains.
We could see heavy rainfall at times tomorrow.
The snow level will start out at 6000 feet, but could drop to below 3000 feet by the end of the weekend.
The storm system is expected to clear out of the region on Sunday.
