Authorities have identified a woman killed in a three vehicle Oxnard traffic accident which also left six others injured.
It happened just before noon yesterday, on Victoria Avenue, south of Gonzales Road.
Oxnard Police say a southbound car driven by Jill McDonald went out of control through the center median, and struck two northbound vehicles head-on. McDonald was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four of the six people injured in the accident were young children, but none of the injuries were described as life threatening.
