One person is dead, and six injured following a traffic accident in Oxnard.
It happened just before noon yesterday, on Victoria Avenue south of Gonzales Road.
Oxnard Police say a southbound car went out of control through the center median, and struck two northbound vehicles head-on. The driver of the out of control vehicle was killed.
She’s being identified as a 52 year old Oxnard resident, but her name hasn’t been released pending notification of relatives.
None of the injuries to the other six victims of the crash were life threatening, but four of the six who were hurt were young children
