Ventura County, and Los Angeles City and County firefighters are on the scene of a pair of small fires off the the 118 Freeway, near Rocky Peak Road, near the Ventura/Los Angeles County line.
The fires broke out just before 9 a.m. One of the fires was contained at around a quarter of an acre, while the other has been more stubborn, burning about an acre of a brush, and moving uphilll. No structures have been threatened by the fires. There’s no word yet on the cause.
