Authorities are now identifying three victims of a boating accident in the Channel Islands, while the search for the body of the fourth person continues this afternoon.
A boat on a day outing out of Channel Islands Harbor, to Santa Cruz Island Saturday failed to return. A search on Sunday found the overturned boat.
The bodies of Sieng Bum and Ramiro Duarte of Oxnard, and Edgar Allen Isnec of Port Hueneme were recovered from the ocean by search teams.
The body of a fourth man believed to have died in the accident is still the focus of a search which continues at this hour.
The U.S. Coast Guard, and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department are conducting a joint investigation into what’s being called an apparent boating mishap.
