The CEO of Ventura County’s new health care agency, which administers Medi-Cal serves to more than 100,000 people, has quit.
Earl Greenia was the start up head of the Gold Coast Health Plan, which went online last summer. There no word on what led to the resignation. There have been some issues about finances, and operations of the agency, but officials say that’s to be expected with such an ambitious project. The agency is intended to improve the quality of health care services, improve efficiency, and save money.
There no word yet on how Greenia will be replaced.
