More than a dozen government, and non profit agencies are coming together in the Conejo Valley tomorrow (Saturday), for a Community Emergency Preparedness Expo.
The free event in Newbury Park features teams from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, and Fire Department, the Civil Air Patrol, the Thousand Oaks Community Emergency Response Team, and other groups. The American Red Cross will be on hand with emergency preparedness information, as well as to conduct a blood drive.
The expo takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which is at 35 South Wendy Drive, in Newbury Park.
