The Oxnard School District has put a female teacher on paid administrative leave, while it investigates allegations she participated in a pornographic video.
The claim first surfaced from students Friday, involving a Haydock Intermediate School teacher. School officials say at first, they couldn’t confirm the claims, and sent out an e-mail saying that. But, they say that some potential evidence was later discovered online.
District Superintendent Jeff Chancer sent a letter home to parents at three intermediate schools, explaining the situation, and the action they’d taken while an investigation is conducted. Officials made it clear no students were involved, and that they think if the activity actually occurred, it happened off campus, on the teacher’s own time.
They’re asking parents to be vigilant of their kids online activities, so they don’t try to find the video in question.
There’s no word on what might happened if the allegations are confirmed.
