A rash of heroin overdoses, and deaths in Simi Valley in the last few months is prompting a special meeting of community leaders.
The Simi Valley City Council, the school board, and the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District board will meet at 6 p.m. tomorrow night to talk about the problem.
The public meeting will take place at Sinaloa Middle School.
A community task force has been formed to try to address increased heroin use in the region.
