It was a scary night for some Oxnard residents last night, as three armed men entered their home, and then fired shots after being forced out the door.
It happened around 9:30 last night, on Poplar Street in Oxnard.
Police say one of the suspects confronted one of the victims. He struggled with two of the intruders over a gun. The victim was able to fight off the intruders, and then lock them outside of the home. The men then fired a volley of shots into the home, before fleeing in a car.
No one was hurt.
Oxnard police detectives say they have some leads in the case, and are looking for three 18-20 year old men. Officials aren’t saying what they think the motive was in the incident.
