A crackdown in prostitution in Santa Barbara County has led to four arrests.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department Special Investigations Bureau set up a sting operation involving online ads for sex. In each case, the subject agreed to meet someone who turned out to be an undercover deputy at a motel, with the intention of having sex.
The four men were all arrested on charges of soliciting prostitution. Detectives say they’ll continue to conduct undercover operations to crack down on prostitution.
