Oxnard Police are trying to figure out what led to the shooting death of a young man in the city Wednesday night.
It happened at around 9 p.m., on the 2000 block of San Benito Street. Officers called to the scene by reports of a shooting found a seriously wounded 19 year old Oxnard man. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The name of the victim hasn’t been released. No arrests have been made in connection with the fatal shooting.
