It’s a difficult subject to talk about, but experts say what’s known as self-injury, the intentional destruction of one’s own body tissues has reached epidemic proportions. KCLU’s Lance Orozco talks with a leading researcher on the subject, who along with her husband (and fellow researcher) will be giving a lecture on the subject this week in Ventura County.
