Age related macular degeneration is one of the most common causes of blindness, and in most cases there’s currently no cure, or treatment available. But, a U.C. Santa Barbara researcher is part of a team which has developed what may be a key breakthrough in diagnosing, and eventually treating the disease. KCLU’s Lance Orozco has the story.
