A couple who’s incredible true story of love is the subject of the number one movie at the nation’s box office this week, “The Vow”, is appearing in Ventura County this weekend for a series of charity events.
Kim and Krickett Carpenter wrote a book about their incredible journey.
The married couple got into a car accident in 1993, and Krickett lost her memory, not even recognizing her husband, Kim.
Kim stuck with Krickett, and she fell in love again, and they had a second wedding ceremony, even through she still can’t remember their first one.
In their one public event locally, the Carpenters will be at Camarillo’s Roxy Stadium 11 Theater from 3-4 p.m., and again from 9-10 p.m. Saturday, autographing copies of their book.
The film’s Associate Producer, Tom Colbert of Camarillo talks about the story
