Water could soon become more expensive in one Ventura County community.
The City Of Thousand Oaks is looking at a proposal to increase basic rates by just over ten percent.
City officials say the hike would pay for increased water costs, and help finance projected future infrastructure improvements which will be needed.
The City Council is set to look at the issue when it meets tonight.
