Four days a week, when school is out for the day at Santa Barbara Junior High School, class then begins for a special group of students. These students stay after school not because they have to, but because they want to, so they can get ahead in their educations. KCLU’s Lance Orozco has more about this effort involving three programs, which are working together to help some promising students:
