Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire which heavily damaged a Ventura home, causing a more than a quarter of a million dollar loss.
A neighbor discovered the blaze just after 10:30 yesterday morning, on the 3700 block of Paloma Street.
Firefighters were able to knock down the fire in less than a half hour.
No one was hurt, but two residents were displaced by the fire.
