There are too many dogs and cats, and not enough shelter space in Ventura County. Last year, thousands of animals were euthanized. Some animal rights advocates went to the board which oversees county animal services, to try to push for measures to reduce the number of deaths. KCLU’s Lance Orozco was there, and has the story.
