A Ventura County coalition has received a million dollar grant to fight obesity in the county. Kaiser Permanete is giving the money to the alliance called “A LEAN West Ventura”.
The money will be used over a three year period to fund programs, and initiatives to get people in the area to eater healthier foods, and exercise more. Ventura is one of six communities statewide getting one of the million dollar grants.
