Southern Santa Barbara County is looking at using state of the art technology to increase its ability to recycle solid waste, in an effort which could potentially reduce what is currently flowing into the dump by 50%. It’s a public/private partnership which would be privately financed, and paid for through fees for dump users. KCLU’s Lance Orozco has the story.
