State Supreme Court Rulings On Redevelopment Have Local Officials Upset

A court decision affirming the state’s right to shut down more than 400 redevelopment agencies statewide, and redirecting the money to Sacramento is drawing angry reactions from local leaders.  The move could supply the cash strapped state with more than a billion dollars this year, and eventually, up to five billion dollars annually, but at the expense of local redevelopment projects.  KCLU’s Lance Orozco looks at the situation.
